Moments Monday

This weekend we were able to go see some hot air balloons.  They were having tethered rides and then a evening balloon glow.  Brandon wants to actually go on a hot air balloon ride.... but I don't.  So this was fun for us to go and enjoy it without having to actually ride in it.  I took a lot of pictures and here are a few.... hope you enjoy!!

My family went to dinner for my Aunts birthday and then went to see the hot air balloons.  We told her we got her some of the biggest balloons ever!  She said it was the best birthday ever!!

I will blog everyday this week.....

I have been having a hard time blogging this past week and a half.  Sorry to all 5 of my faithful readers out there.  I appreciate you!  

To catch up over the past few days..... I weighed myself last wednesday and had lost a pound.  I was not very happy with how I was doing with my diet... so I didn't even measure.   I will be back this Wednesday with weight and measurements!

We went out to eat a few times the past couple of weeks and I have been proud of myselft with the choices I have made.  At Ruby Tuesday's I got their mini burgers and a salad.  It was 2 mini burgers and they were really good!  I made sure to eat more salad than anything else.  I went to applebees and they have these menu items under 500 calories and I got one of those.  It was really really good  some type of chicken with fresh veggies.  Haven't made any outstanding recipes lately... so maybe one this coming friday!

Haven't seen any new movies lately.  I have started listening to Lady Antebellum (2 of the group members are from Augusta)  and they are my new favorite.  I've listened to them since their first c.d. but now i'm addicted to their newest one!

Ok so I have wednesday caught up, food fridays, tuesdays, and thursdays.... now just a couple new pictures to catch me up and I will start fresh tomorrow!!!!

Happy Monday.  I hope everyone had a great weekend and I hope you enjoyed the Oscars!!!  At the Busby house we were very excited to see The Hurt Locker take home 6 oscars!  Great movie about a bomb disposal squad serving overseas.

Meagan and Tim Engagement and Meagan's Bridesmaids Dinner

So our friends Lindsay and Lucio got married back in October of 2009, 3 weeks before our wedding. My mom and I were helping with the rehearsal dinner at the church and I ended up meeting this couple named Meagan and Tim. I had met Tim once or twice before but had never met Meagan. We started talking and became fast friends...since then we've been really close and she even did my make-up for the wedding!!! Well, she is getting married in September and I have been doing some pictures for them. I did their engagement pictures and then just recently I did her bridesmaids dinner. The engagement pictures were so much fun and we got some great shots of Meagan, Tim, and their dogs! The bridesmaid dinner was amazing!!!! I was invited as a friend to come and hang out with the other girls but I also brought my camera and got some shots. Meagan did an amazing job on the decorations and really made the dining room look great!!!
